Mango Summer Smoothie

Mango spinach smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 240 ml fresh or frozen mango chunks
  • 120 ml fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 banana
  • 120 ml Greek yogurt or skyr (optional for extra creaminess and protein)
  • 120 ml orange juice or coconut water (adjust according to desired consistency)
  • 120 ml baby spinach (optional for added nutrients)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds (optional for added fiber and omega-3)
  • Ice cubes (optional, if you want a thicker smoothie)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: If using fresh mango and pineapple, peel and chop them into chunks. Peel the banana and break it into smaller pieces.
  2. Blend: Add the mango, pineapple, banana, Greek yogurt (if using), orange juice or coconut water, and spinach (if using) to a blender.
  3. Add Optional Ingredients: Add the chia seeds or flaxseeds and ice cubes if desired.
  4. Blend Until Smooth: Blend on high speed until all the ingredients are well combined and the smoothie is smooth.
  5. Adjust Consistency: If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more orange juice or coconut water and blend again until you reach your desired consistency.
  6. Serve: Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Tips:

  • Sweetness: If you prefer a sweeter smoothie, you can add a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup.
  • Protein Boost: For extra protein, you can add a scoop of your favorite protein powder.
